About Me

I trained as a Transactional Analyst Psychotherapist with the Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Institute in Edinburgh (CPTI) and continue to practice as a psychotherapist with the sister organisation of CPTI  - the Edinburgh Institute for Counselling and Psychotherapy (EICP). I also work in private practice with consulting rooms in central and south Edinburgh.

I am a Provisional Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst supervising trainee counsellors and psychotherapists in individual and group supervision. I am registered with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). The UKCP is a regulating body that ensures good ethical standards are maintained within the profession of psychotherapy. I qualified as an accredited Couples Counsellor with Couple Counselling Scotland (affiliated to Relate) and continue to work with couples.

I also work as a Visiting Drama Specialist and have a particular interest in drama as therapy. Before teaching drama I worked as an actor working in repertory theatre throughout the UK.
